In early 2020, Tanj Group assumed full ownership of the SELF for medicines and medical supplies division, rebranding it from SELF Company to Tanj Company for Drugs and Medical Supplies. Established in 2015 within the Kurdistan Region, this entity is duly registered with the Ministry of Health. Our endeavours in this domain have been extensive, involving the procurement and distribution of medicines and various medical supplies from countries such as Britain, Canada, UAE, Turkey, India, Jordan, and more. With the onset of the global coronavirus pandemic earlier this year, particularly affecting Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, our group took proactive measures. We developed a range of essential medical supplies including medical masks, devices, oxygen monitors, disinfectants, ventilators, and more, providing vital assistance to the government and citizens during this challenging period. Currently, we have established partnerships with several global pharmaceutical companies, enabling us to distribute their products across the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
